The Albany Senior Center is a multi-purpose community center operated by the Albany Parks and Recreation as a gathering place and center of activities for persons 50 and older. The Albany Senior Center promotes healthy living through recreational, wellness, and educational experiences. The Senior Center is open 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday.

Gift Shop

Handmade crafts and specialty items are for sale in the Senior Center gift shop. Do you make or build handcrafted items? Consign with us!

Rent the Senior Center

Host your event, large or small at the Albany Senior Center. With wifi connectivity, full kitchen, large dividable rooms, and a location adjacent to Monteith Riverpark, the Albany Senior Center is perfect for your next meeting or event.

Highlights Newsletter 

Highlights is a quarterly newsletter published by the Albany Senior Center in cooperation with the Albany Area Seniors, Inc., highlighting all the events, activities, and classes offered at the Albany Senior Center. Highlights is offered free of charge to persons over the age of 50 who reside in the Albany area. Donations are greatly appreciated, as the cost to produce each newsletter is $14 per year.

 

We promote healthy living through recreational experiences and serve as stewards of Albany's public parks and facilities.
