Oregon Early Learning Division has provided resources for families and child care providers who may face virus-related disruptions.

Governor Kate Brown has expanded child care benefits for families and providers during the spread of COVID-19. Contact the Oregon Department of Human Services Direct Pay Unit with questions at 1-800-699-9074.

Mental health for essential workers

Lines for Life has created a Virtual Wellness Room to offer support to helpers, mental health professionals, first responders, social workers and anyone considered an essential worker during the COVID-19 pandemic in Oregon. Each check-in call will have a facilitator to guide the conversation.

Prescriptions

Albany Police Department is offering prescription delivery service to qualifying residents, evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Call 541-917-7680 for details or to request this service.

State Offers COVID-19 Mortgage Relief Program

The COVID-19 Mortgage Relief program is now open to assist Oregonians who have fallen behind on their mortgage during the pandemic. Income-qualified homeowners who came past due on their first-lien mortgage after January 1, 2020 and have experienced a financial hardship may qualify for assistance. Homeowners should visit www.oregonhomeownerhelp.org/how-to-apply to learn whether they qualify and how to apply. The state also partners with trusted housing counseling agencies that can help with applications and assist with loan signing.
